Catskills Wedding at the Full Moon Resort // Erin & Dennis

This was one of the most special weddings we have ever had the honor of photographing! Erin and Dennis are two of our dearest friends that I went to undergrad with, and, of course, Geoff has become easy, fast friends with over the last 12 years of bicoastal visits and trips together. When we first started chatting about the possibility of being the photographers at their weddings, we were over the moon! Erin and Den live on Staten Island and had their wedding during the most magical time of year in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. The fall leaves had just started turning and the air was crisp all weekend.

Adamson House Wedding // Laura & Graham

The Adamson House is one of our favorite venues to shoot at for obvious reasons. It’s a historic California landmark with rich history and breathtaking views. It was the perfect setting for Laura & Graham’s wedding day last August. Laura is a Malibu native and grew up surfing just steps from where they said their ‘I-do’s’. The wedding took place on a warm summer day that was complimented with brightly colored decor and the sound of rolling ocean waves in the background.

Quail Ranch Wedding // Kristina & Danny

As we reminisce on this incredible couple’s Quail Ranch wedding, words like: class, intention, personality, and warmth come to mind. Kristina & Danny live in NYC where jazz music plays a tremendous role in their lives. Danny is a composer, Kristina is a swing dancer, so naturally jazz was a central theme incorporated into their wedding day. They had a live band, handmade center pieces commemorating all of the jazz legends, and Danny even wrote a song for Kristina that he performed during the reception.

Alabama Wedding at Pursell Farms // Mackenzie & Hunter

It’s been over two years since this incredible wedding weekend and I still have butterflies thinking about all the joy and love that was shared for Mackenzie & Hunter back in February 2020! How did a photography couple from Southern California end up shooting a wedding in the deep south, you may be wondering?

Well, Geoff and I hired Mackenzie and her sister, Tyler, to create the website you are looking at right now. They have an incredible website design business, M Modern, and created basically a total custom site for us back in 2018. Kenz & Tyler are as talented and brilliant as they are beautiful, from the inside out.

Lake Tahoe Wedding // Sarah & Bill

This Lake Tahoe wedding took place back in 2020 during the peak of rescheduled weddings. Sarah & Bill postponed their larger wedding at their original venue to 2021 (it has since taken place and was UH-MAZING), but still wanted to get married on their original wedding date. They gathered a tight-nit group of their closest family and friends, rented an Airbnb in one of their favorite places - Lake Tahoe (also where they Bill proposed!), and put on the sweetest little wedding in the woods. I remember Geoff and I feeling SO happy to have cameras in hand and be around so much joy and excitement.

Angelus Oaks Wedding at Camp Wasewagan // Jeni & Kris

Jeni & Kris celebrated their wedding weekend this past October on a beautiful property nestled in the San Bernardino National Forest just below Big Bear. The nights were cold and the days were warm, which made for a perfect fall wedding for this country-loving couple. Jeni & Kris had recently moved to Montana a few months before their wedding but got married back in California at Jeni’s step-dad’s summer camp. Camp Wasewagan is a special place for Jeni & her family. Many of their nearest and dearest had spent memorable weekends here at family parties and holiday get togethers.

Belmond El Encanto Wedding // Ashley & Justin

Ashley & Justin’s wedding will forever be a memorable one for us. Firstly, it was our first wedding back from our maternity & paternity leave after our second baby girl was born earlier this year. It was also our first wedding back with no restrictions after the rollercoaster pandemic year. After so much downtime, micro-weddings, and elopements, it was a shock in the absolute BEST way to be around a large group of people again, seeing everyone enjoy a meal together at one giant table, and best of all.. DANCING!!

Angeles National Forest Engagements // Shannon & Chad

Reflecting on this warm summer evening with Shannon & Chad and what a dreamy shoot it was! This was one of our first full sessions coming out of quarantine last summer. After months of postponements, I remember how nice it felt to be shooting again and how lovely it felt to be around other adults besides each other. We had the best time with these two rays of sunshine and their sweet pup, Eloise. And the best part, we had the entire area to ourselves!
