Booking FAQs

+ How much to book you for our wedding?

Elopements start at $3,000. Wedding’s start at $5,500. The average cost most of our couples spend on their wedding package is $6,500-$8,000. Please reach out through our contact page for more information on our packages and pricing.

+ What's Included?

The hours: From first email exchange to final package delivery, we put roughly 40-60 hours of work into our weddings. Those hours involve mostly editing and post-process, but also include unlimited communication, coordination with other vendors, meetings with our couples (aka getting to know you so you're comfortable having us in all the intimate moments on your wedding day!), venue walk-throughs (if we haven’t already shot at your venue), plus actual time spent capturing your wedding and engagement photos (6-10 hours). 

The product: Between both of us, we typically take between 3,000 and 10,000 total photos during a wedding day. During post-process, we carefully go through each image, select the best shots, and finely edit, retouch, color-correct, and make sure every detail is perfect. You’ll receive between 500 and 1,000 photos in your wedding collection, depending on how many hours of coverage you’ve booked us for.

+ How long does it take to receive my photos?

We typically deliver wedding galleries within 6-8 weeks following your wedding day. However, we contract for a 14-week turnaround time depending on the time of year and unforeseen life circumstances. Late summer through the holidays are our busy season. Engagement and family sessions are delivered within 4 weeks of your shoot date.

+ How will I receive my collection of wedding and engagement photos?

All images are delivered through email via a private online gallery for your viewing and downloading pleasure! You’ll have download access to every image in both high resolution (for printing) and low resolution (for digital sharing, i.e. Facebook, Instagram) without watermarking. You’re welcome to share your gallery with friends, family, coworkers, etc.!

+ How do we book you?

If your interested in booking us, please send us an email through our contact page. Once we’ve confirmed we are available on your wedding date, we’ll send you a contract with all the specifics. To book, we require a 50% deposit and signed contract. The remaining deposit is due 2 weeks before your wedding day.

+ How far in advance should we book?

We prefer as far in advance as possible! Usually couples book us anywhere 9-18 months in advance. However, we take a select number of weddings per year and once we’re full, we’re full. If we’re booked on your date or filled-up for the year, we are happy to help you out with referrals for other talented photographers with our similar style + pricing.

+ How many hours should we hire you for?

Our wedding packages are slotted for 6 to 10 hours. Based on our experience, we believe we can fully capture your wedding day within these time frames. We suggest arriving no later than two hours before your scheduled ceremony time (and earlier if your planning on doing a first look). This will allow us to capture all the important details, images of your venue without guests, and getting ready moments without rushing.

We are happy to develop a photography day-of schedule or work with your wedding coordinator to make sure all aspect of your day are being captured during optimum lighting. If you think you'll need us for longer than 10 hours, we can absolutely accommodate this! Inquire about a custom package through our contact page.

Absolutely! We love love LOVE when clients share their photos!

+ If our day-of schedule changes, can we adjust total hours of coverage?

Absolutely! We just need two weeks notice so we can adjust your final deposit.

+ What if it rains?

Rain on your wedding day is good luck! Especially in Southern California! We are your’s on your wedding day rain or shine and will do our best to accommodate even if that means running around with umbrellas to cover our equipment (with big smiles on our faces because we love weather!). If it rains when we’ve scheduled your engagement session, we can reschedule, no problem!

+ Are both of you at every shoot?

Yes! We are a team and are both present at every wedding, engagement and family session.

+ How do shoots work with two people?

For wedding days, Lynds will be with the bride and Geoff will be with the groom until first look or ceremony. We both carry two cameras (4 total) during a wedding day. We each have one camera set up exactly the same for continuity of shots between the bride and groom. For our other cameras, we switch out between a variety of lens depending on the subject or scene (for example: details vs. scenery).

+ What kind of equipment do you use?

We use all professional equipment by canon: 5D Mark IV bodies and a family of lens: 16-35mm, 50mm, 100mm, 70-200mm.!

+ Engagement session vs. no engagement session?

We get it, engagement sessions aren’t for everyone. But, if you're on the fence - we don’t have enough great things to say about getting to work with you and your love before your big day! Engagement sessions are a perfect opportunity for the 4 of us to get to know each other and give you a chance to experience how we work, how we direct, and what its like to be in front of our cameras. Engagement sessions are intimate and SO FUN! We love working with our couples to come up with the perfect location, outfit, and vibe, which all reflects your unique personalities + relationship.

+ What should we expect at an engagement or family session?

To arrive at a beautiful location and be yourselves! We’ve found that some clients think they have to model or know how to pose. No way! All you have to do it be ready for some laughs and have fun! We will provide direction, set up shots and mostly capture all the messy in-between moments because that's the real stuff we love!

+ Where are you located? Do you travel?

We live in a little harbor town in Southern California. Yes, we will travel ANYWHERE in the world! We've built our business and learned how to create beautiful imagery through traveling. Our inspiration comes from experiencing new places and new people.
